Send photos uncropped
A DM photo can now go out as a Photo, uncropped at its own shape like any photo in a chat, or as a Card, cropped with your title and buttons on it. New photos are added as a Photo; choose Card next to the photo to crop it. Photos already in your automations stay cards.
With Photo, your text and buttons arrive in a second message right after the photo. Commenters can get only one message before they reply, so to send them a photo with text as their first DM, turn on the opening message or Ask for email, or send it as a card. See Reply to direct messages and add photos.
Profile button in Follow Gate
Follow Gate messages can now include a button that opens your Instagram profile, so people can follow without searching for you. It sits above the confirmation button in the first message and the reminder. New automations include it; for an existing one, turn on Profile button under Ask them to follow first. See Ask for a follow before sending the DM.
Channel access for Studio members
In a Studio, owners and admins can now limit a member to some channels, so a teammate only works on the brands they look after. Choose channels when you invite someone, or open a member’s menu on Members and select Channel access. A limited member only sees their channels and those channels’ automations, results and contacts.
Channels lists every channel in the workspace, so a member can request access to another one. Owners and admins get an email and approve or deny the request on the same page. Learn more in Work with a team in Studio.
Extra channels and switching to yearly
Studio includes 10 channels. Owners and admins can now add up to 40 more in Plan and usage, at $5 a month each, or $50 a year on yearly billing. If you pay monthly for Creator or Studio, you can also switch to yearly there: go to Billing period and select Switch to yearly. See Plans, trials, and billing.
