The cheapest Instagram comment-to-DM tools, compared by real monthly cost

What each tool costs once 1,000 or 10,000 people comment in a month. Every competitor figure was read from that tool's own pricing page on the date below.

Short answer

Replier is our own product. The lowest paid plan is ReplyKaro at $3/month. Replier is $10/month or $100/year (about $8.33/month), with unlimited interactions under fair use, no per-contact billing, and both Instagram and Facebook. Prices checked on October 29, 2026.

Cost at 1,000 and 10,000 commenters

Prices checked on October 29, 2026. The 1,000 and 10,000 columns are the cheapest month-to-month price that covers that many people with one private reply each. Where a tool publishes only a yearly price, the cell says so. We do not convert currencies. A follow gate can turn one person into two or three messages, which is covered below.

How these tools charge

Three billing models decide what a viral post costs. Read the model before the headline price.

Flat monthly fee

You pay the plan price up to its DM or automation cap, whether 10 or 10,000 people comment. Replier, InstantDM, ReplyKaro, LinkDM, CreatorFlow, and ReplyRush publish prices this way. Replier does not cap interactions by count under fair use.

Per contact

You pay by how many distinct people you message or activate in a month. ManyChat bills active contacts. Inrō bills activated contacts, and its monthly Pro price moves up a band as that count grows. One person is one contact for the month, however many messages they get.

Free, built in

Meta Business Suite can send one private reply per comment at no cost. It does not add the follow gate, email capture, or click analytics the paid tools sell.

Why per-contact pricing grows when a Reel goes viral

On a per-contact tool, the price follows the number of people, not the number of posts. A Reel that usually draws a few hundred comments can draw 10,000 in a day, and each new person you message is another billable contact that month.

ManyChat's Pro plan is $39/month for 2,500 active contacts, then $0.05 each. That path is $39 + 7,500 × $0.05 = $414 at 10,000 contacts. Business is cheaper for that volume: $99/month includes 7,500, then $0.025 each, so $99 + 2,500 × $0.025 = $161.50. A flat-fee plan in this table stays at $3, $10, $19, or $30. The per-contact bill is the one that moves. ManyChat says the final price depends on billing country and is shown before payment.

What counts as a DM when you use a follow gate

A follow gate asks someone to follow before the link goes out, so one person can receive two or three messages: the gate prompt, a reminder, and the DM with the link. On a tool that meters monthly DMs or automations, those extra messages count against the cap.

The 1,000 and 10,000 columns assume one private reply per commenter. If most automations use a gate, budget about two or three times the message volume on send-metered plans. Per-contact tools still count the person once. Replier does not meter interactions by message count under fair use, so a gated flow does not change the price.

Which tool fits you

Replier (our own product)

Fits Instagram and Facebook on one flat price, with no per-contact bill. Creator is $10/month or $100/year (about $8.33/month), with unlimited interactions under fair use and up to 2 channels. The free plan is 100 interactions a month, fewer than most of the free allowances in this table, and new sends pause at that cap. Studio adds multi-step DM flows with button and keyword branches. It is not a full chatbot platform (no broadcasts, inbox, or CRM), and it does not include WhatsApp.

InstantDM

Fits a flat fee with a high cap. The free plan includes 500 DM automations a month on 1 Instagram account; Facebook comment-to-DM starts on Legend Pro. Legend Pro is $12/month, or $9.99/month billed yearly ($120/year), with no monthly automation cap (up to 800 an hour) and no per-contact fee. The visual flow editor starts on Trendsetter at $29.99/month, or $24.99/month billed yearly.

ReplyKaro

Fits an Instagram-first setup on a small budget. The free plan is 1 Instagram account, 3 automations, and 1,000 DMs a month, and the pricing page includes Follow-Gate on it. Starter is ₹99 or $3 a month for 30,000 DMs. A weaker fit when Facebook is the main channel, because Facebook plans are priced separately from the Instagram plans.

LinkDM

Fits posts that stay within 1,000 DMs a month. The free plan includes 1 Instagram account, 1,000 DMs a month, and Facebook DM automations. Pro is $19/month for up to 3 Instagram accounts and 25,000 DMs a month, or $182/year. A weaker fit if the next step after free needs to stay under $10, because Pro is the first paid plan.

CreatorFlow

Fits a flat Instagram price. Free is 500 automated DMs a month on 1 account. Pro is $15/month, or $12/month billed annually ($144/year), with 5,000 DMs per workspace and 2 workspaces. One workspace at 10,000 DMs needs Growth, at $30/month or $24/month billed annually, which lists 10,000 DMs per workspace. The pricing page lists Instagram accounts and does not list Facebook.

ReplyRush

Fits a free start on Instagram and Facebook. The free plan lists 1,500 DMs a month on 1 Instagram account and 1 Facebook account. The pricing page turns Comment Auto Reply and Follow Gated DM off on Free and on from Lite at $10/month (7,500 DMs); ReplyRush's free-plan article says the private comment-to-DM still sends on Free. 10,000 DMs need Boost at $25/month (40,000 DMs), because Lite stops at 7,500.

Inrō

Fits Instagram accounts that pay per activated contact, in euros. Free is 100 activated contacts a month. Monthly Pro starts at €12.99 for up to 500, then €19.99 for 501–1,000 and €149.99 for 9,001–10,000, on the bands in Inrō's billing article. Annual Pro is €1,249/year for 10,000 activated contacts a month. A weaker fit for a flat fee or for Facebook: the pricing and billing pages describe Instagram accounts, and each account is its own subscription.

ManyChat

Fits a full chat-marketing platform, including channels beyond Instagram and Facebook. Accounts on the March 2, 2026 pricing pay by monthly active contact: Free is 25, Essential is $17/month for 250, Pro is $39/month for 2,500, and Business is $99/month for 7,500. At 1,000 contacts, Pro at $39 costs less than Essential plus its $0.10 overage. At 10,000, Business plus its $0.025 overage is $161.50 a month. A weaker fit when the only job is comment-to-DM, because the bill follows how many people you reach.

Meta Business Suite

Fits one automatic private reply at no cost. Meta's private-reply docs allow one private reply per comment, within 7 days. Our comparison with Meta's built-in reply lists follow-to-unlock and email capture as not included, and click analytics and catch-up as not documented there. Enough for that single reply; a campaign that needs those extras needs another tool.

For agencies and multiple accounts

Running several creators changes the question from price per month to price per account. Replier Studio is $49/month or $490/year and includes 10 channels. One channel is one Instagram account or one Facebook Page. Each extra channel is $5/month or $50/year, up to 40 extra channels on self-serve, with unlimited team members.

A per-contact tool bills every client account on its own, so a viral client moves that client's invoice. A flat price per channel is easier to forecast across a roster. The For agencies page works out Studio for 5, 10, and 25 clients.

Prices and how we calculated them

Each link below was open on October 29, 2026. If a tool changes its pricing later, its own page is the source of truth. Volume columns use one private reply per commenter and the cheapest month-to-month plan that covers it, unless the only published paid price is yearly.

Replier: Creator is $10/month or $100/year (about $8.33/month), with unlimited interactions under fair use, so 1,000 and 10,000 commenters are both $10/month on month-to-month billing. The free plan is 100 interactions a month, which these volumes pass. These are the same list prices as our pricing page.

InstantDM: the free plan is 500 DM automations a month on 1 Instagram account, so 1,000 and 10,000 both need Legend Pro at $12/month month-to-month ($9.99/month billed yearly, $120/year), which lists unlimited automations up to 800 an hour and adds Facebook. The page says it is built on Meta's official API.

ReplyKaro: the free plan is 1,000 DMs a month, which covers 1,000 commenters at $0. 10,000 needs Starter at $3/month (₹99) for 30,000 DMs. The page says Facebook is priced separately, and that it connects through Meta's API. Its own page says the plan table was last reviewed on October 15, 2026; we read the live page on the date above.

LinkDM: the free plan is 1 Instagram account and 1,000 DMs a month, including Facebook DM automations, so 1,000 commenters are $0. 10,000 needs Pro at $19/month (up to 3 accounts and 25,000 DMs a month). Yearly Pro is $182, listed as 25,000 DMs per account per month.

CreatorFlow: the free plan is 500 DMs a month, so 1,000 needs Pro at $15/month (5,000 DMs per workspace; $12/month billed annually, $144/year). 10,000 on one workspace needs Growth at $30/month (10,000 DMs per workspace; $24/month billed annually). The pricing page counts Instagram accounts and does not list Facebook.

ReplyRush: the pricing page's plan data lists Free at $0 for 1,500 DMs a month, Lite at $10 for 7,500, Boost at $25 for 40,000, and MAX at $100 for 400,000, on Instagram and Facebook. 1,000 private replies fit Free. 10,000 needs Boost, because Lite stops at 7,500. Comment Auto Reply and Follow Gated DM are marked off on Free; ReplyRush's free-plan article says the private comment-to-DM still sends.

Inrō: free is 100 activated contacts a month. The billing article prices monthly Pro at €12.99 up to 500, €19.99 for 501–1,000, and €149.99 for 9,001–10,000, so 1,000 commenters are €19.99/month and 10,000 are €149.99/month. Annual Pro is €1,249/year and includes 10,000 activated contacts a month (the pricing page says 10,000+; the billing article describes a cap at 10,000). Prices stay in euros. Each Instagram account is its own subscription.

ManyChat: help-center list prices for the March 2, 2026 model, which the pricing page's overage row matches ($0.10, $0.05, and $0.025 a month). Free is 25 active contacts. At 1,000 contacts, Essential is $17 + 750 × $0.10 = $92, and Pro at $39 (2,500 included) is lower, so the column uses $39. At 10,000, Pro is $39 + 7,500 × $0.05 = $414, and Business is $99 + 2,500 × $0.025 = $161.50, so the column uses $161.50. ManyChat says the price depends on billing country and is confirmed before payment. Yearly prices are lower and are not the figure in the volume columns.

Meta Business Suite: free. One private reply per comment, within 7 days, from Meta's private-reply docs.
